Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko was a Ukrainian poet, writer, artist, public and political figure, as well as folklorist and ethnographer.
Shevchenko is also known for many masterpieces as a painter and an illustrator.
It was a great privilege today that the Senior and Elementary Verchovyna groups where able to honour him through Ukrainian dance some 200 years later alongside with the rest of our Ukrainian community.
He truly was an inspirational cultural person.
